In aviation, we have a comprehensive portfolio of skills and services - within Air Traffic Management, as well as the latest generation of Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) for airports, Integrated Real time Information System for air traffic services (IRIS) for ATM and systems for technical monitoring of airports and navigation aids (RCMS).

Weather & information systems

Our weather and information system for aviation, roads, shipping and military applications, i-MET, is operative at a large number of sites, including over 120 airports. With over 25 years’ experience developing integrated weather and information systems, coupled with considerable expertise within ATM, aviation and meteorology, we take overall responsibility for project deliveries.

 

The solutions are independent and can be integrated with other programme systems and hardware, and our cross-functional teams also deliver extensive weather consultancy services. The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) is a long-standing customer that has relied on our specialist skills in this area.

 

IRIS (Integrated Real-time Information System), ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service) and VOLMET (Meteorological Information for Aircraft in Flight) and DRIWS (Digital Runway Incursion Warning System) are other systems in the i-MET family tailored for aviation.

 

AWOS

AWOS (Automated Weather Observing Observation System) contributes to the safety of thousands of passengers every hour and every minute, all over the world. With data from a large number of sensors and our proprietary software, weather conditions are analysed in real time and reported automatically to air traffic control and to the aircraft. AWOS is scalable and adaptable to any sized airport.

Air Traffic Management

Our substantial range of skills within Air Traffic Management helps aviation authorities, airports and the aviation industry create conditions for greater efficiency, availability and safety.

 

Our cross-functional teams give technical and operational advice and support, based on years of experience with advanced product development for both civil and military aviation. As independent consultants, we can cooperate with any supplier.

 

We deliver specialist expertise in architecture, robust communications, system integration, systems development, safety, cybersecurity, project management, SESAR and business development. Alongside digitalization of the sector, together we explore opportunities in AI, autonomous systems and system and service deliveries to remote towers.
