Registry control system
One of the biggest challenges for anyone conducting activities covered by security protection is to conduct security screenings of personnel where registry checks and security interview sessions are important components.
With Combitech Security Clearance Manager, you can gather your information regarding security screening, registry checks, and security protection agreements in one place.
Security screening (investigation, security interview, and registry check) should be conducted before a person accesses information that is significant for Sweden's security or is important for protection against terrorism. When a business conducts registry checks on its own personnel or procures suppliers for such work, security protection agreements need to be established with the supplier, and the personnel involved undergo registry checks.
Having an easy overview of which individuals are approved for work in their own operations, projects, or suppliers' assignments, which business agreements, and which security protection agreements have been signed with which suppliers is often perceived as difficult, as there is a large number of registry checks but also several organizations (internal or external) and security protection agreements.
The aggregated information about all registry checks, agreements, etc., is classified by several authorities as security-classified information (Sweden's security), which means that it is not allowed to collect such information in ordinary information systems.
The SCM application provides notifications linked to end dates regarding security interview sessions, registry checks, and security protection agreements. The SCM application also supports the digitization of all paper documentation, such as scans of registry check forms, for example.
Combitech Security Clearance Manager is a simple and secure system for digital security administration related to individuals handling classified information. The system provides the ability to gather all information regarding security screening and Security of Undertakings Agreements (SUA) in one place, including:
Through Combitech Security Clearance Manager, documentation for security protection agreements, requests for registry checks, or rechecks can be autogenerated in the correct format for the desired purpose, such as in SÄPO's format, your own template, or another authority's template.
A request for, for example, a registry check can then either be printed physically and manually sent to the appropriate authority, transferred encrypted directly to, among others, SÄPO, or saved as a digital file that can be encrypted or otherwise protected and sent via email. If the response is in digital form, it can easily be imported directly into the system.
Combitech Security Clearance Manager also sends reminders to responsible individuals within the organization, for example, when a person's approval is about to expire and a recheck needs to be conducted, when it is time to conduct annual security interview sessions, or when a security protection agreement is about to expire.
