Until recently, Jessica Öberg was Head of the Industrial Products and Services business area in Saab and a member of Saab’s Group management. Jessica is taking over from Hans Torin.
I’m looking forward to my exciting new assignment. Combitech can contribute in the major changes that are taking place in business and industry aimed at increased efficiency and long-term sustainability – where digital transformation, new technology and security are seen as essential.
Jessica Öberg, new CEO of Combitech
On 1 July, 230 new employees will also join Combitech as a result of the organisational restructuring announced by Saab on 18 March 2021. With the new employees, Combitech will further strengthen its position in secure communication and civil and military defence.
The world around us has changed and Sweden is busy rebuilding a strong and modern national defence system, and to me it is clear that Combitech can contribute with a unique combination of method development, crisis preparedness and knowledge in cybersecurity for both military and civil defence.
Jessica Öberg, new CEO of Combitech
Jessica Öberg previously served in many roles both in Sweden and overseas. Her experience includes both product and service development in the military and civilian markets, and she knows Combitech well, having been Chair of the Board for the past four years.
