The quarter has been marked by intensified geopolitical tensions in the world. A growing focus on accelerating Europe's strategic autonomy and defence integration has led to planned increased investments in defence, security and technology. Combitech's services, which support its customers in challenging traditional ways of working, thinking innovatively, speeding up processes, implementing technology and collaborating securely, are becoming even more in demand.
In several new business deals, Combitech is enabling customers within the Swedish and Finnish Armed Forces, the industrial and defence sectors, and civilian authorities to accelerate their growth, scale up and carry out necessary transformations. Part of this work involves developing a centre of competence in India to meet the increased demand and harness engineering expertise in Hyderabad. Through innovative and secure solutions using technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, space technology and advanced electronics, faster value creation is enabled.
“Our growth and focus on security, innovation and digitalisation have further strengthened Combitech's position. The global situation has made it even more important to come together and work collaboratively to enhance Europe's capabilities. In business and among our employees, there is a drive for innovation, flexibility and speed that we are pleased to share”, says Jessica Öberg, CEO of Combitech.
