16 March 2017

Combitech has recruited Lars Ydreskog as Deputy CEO. Lars will lead the company’s efforts in the area of digitalization and Industrie 4.0.

The transition to a digital society is in full swing and it is a high priority in both the private and public sectors. Combitech is now fortifying its position as digitalization partner by appointing Lars Ydreskog as Deputy CEO.

Lars most recently worked at Saab Aeronautics, where he was Head of Operations for Gripen. He was the driving force behind the company’s model-based development (MDD) and digitalization efforts, which radically shortened the development time for Gripen E compared to earlier generations of high tech fighter aircraft.

Through his leadership and persistence, Lars has demonstrated the possibilities associated with digitalization and has been influential in implementing actual solutions. In Swedish industry, it has made Saab a leader in this area. His expertise and experience is extremely valuable to our customers and he will inject life into our digitalization efforts.

Hans Torin, CEO of Combitech.

It’s very exciting to be joining the team of one of the Nordic region’s biggest engineering consultancy firms. I’m looking forward to contributing the expertise and experience I’ve acquired during my years with Saab and Gripen and helping make further progress in industry with digitalization.

Lars Ydreskog.

Lars Ydreskog will start in his new role at Combitech, based in Linköping, on 1 April 2017.
