Akaer and Combitech sign MOU
Akaer, a Brazilian technologies solutions company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Combitech, an independent technical consultancy company within the defence and security group Saab AB. The purpose is to broaden and deepen the relationship between the companies.
The agreement between Akaer and Combitech outlines the technological cooperation work, and defines priority areas to be explored: Cyber Security and Software Development as a component to fully integrated solutions.
“This is an important step for Akaer and is part of our growth and diversification strategy. The two companies have complementary capabilities that will enable them to capture business opportunities that would otherwise not be accessible if they were acting alone”, says Mr. Cesar A. T. Silva, founder and CEO of Akaer.
“We are looking forward to deepening our cooperation with Akaer. The agreement will enable us to support our Nordic clients with presence in Brazil and is also an important milestone of our internationalization process”, says Mr. Hans Torin, CEO of Combitech.
The signing of the MoU took place at Akaer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos-SP-Brazil and at Combitech’s headquarters in Linköping-Sweden. Signing on behalf of Combitech was Hans Torin, company CEO. Cesar A. T. Silva, founder and CEO of Akaer, signed the agreement for Akaer.
Akaer is one of the biggest Brazilian companies in aerospace structures engineering, and has over 300 employees. Founded in 1992, the company provides innovative and reliable integrated technological solutions to multiple areas such as aerospace, defence, automotive, among others.
Combitech is a Nordic technical consultancy company combining technology, environment and security. The company, which is an independent company within the defence and security group Saab AB, has around 1470 employees in 20 locations across Sweden, as well as offices in Norway and Finland.
